Pool and Jacuzzi Filtration Systems

Pool and Jacuzzi Filtration Systems
A pool filter is designed to purify and cleanse the water in the pool. Given that pool water remains still without circulation, it becomes cloudy over time, leading to the accumulation of impurities and the growth of bacteria.
Filtration of water in pools and jacuzzis is essential for both purification and maintaining water clarity. This process is particularly important for ensuring the health and safety of those who use the pool.

Different Types of Pool and Jacuzzi Filters

Sand Filter:

The most widely used filter for pools and jacuzzis.
It effectively removes suspended particles as small as 60 to 90 microns.
The filter uses silica to filter and eliminate suspended debris.
Available in two types of body materials: composite polymer and metal.
Suitable for larger pools.

Cartridge Filter

Filtering suspended particles as the water passes through the cartridge.
Higher maintenance costs.
Capable of filtering particles between 10 and 20 microns.
Suitable for smaller pools.

Diatomaceous Earth Filter

This filter removes suspended particles by allowing water to pass through diatomaceous earth.
Suitable for smaller to medium-sized pools.
It can be used for jacuzzis.
It requires more complex maintenance and cleaning of the fabric.
It filters particles as fine as 5 to 10 microns.

How the Pool Filtration System Works
The water enters the filtration tank, where the pressure is distributed evenly. Then, the pool pump directs the water to the pool filter. As the water moves through the sand and gravel bed, particles and debris as small as 20 microns are removed, making the water clear.
